AI
Chatbots, model APIs, assistants and agent platforms. Quick to enter, crowded, and hungry for compute.

From a garage to a tech giant.
A tycoon game about building a technology company, in a city full of rivals who play by the same rules as you.
Venturebound is a tycoon game about building a technology company from nothing.
You start alone in a garage in a modern city. You choose a sector (AI, cloud infrastructure or hardware), hire your first people, research technology and build your first product. Then you have to price it, sell it, and keep enough cash in the bank to make the next one.
How you grow is your decision. You can take contracts and grow on your own revenue, or raise money from investors and move faster with less control. You can stay focused on one kind of product or spread into the other sectors.
You are not alone in the city. Rival companies hire from the same pool of people, sell into the same markets and raise from the same investors. They play by the same rules as you, so they can beat you, and you can beat them.
As the company grows you move out of the garage into bigger offices, furnish them, and watch the city change around you.
You begin with a desk, a little money and an idea. Where you go from there is up to you: stay small and profitable, or raise money and grow fast. The city fills with other companies trying to do the same.

There is no single correct strategy. Every choice costs something, and the other companies in the city are making their own.
Chatbots, model APIs, assistants and agent platforms. Quick to enter, crowded, and hungry for compute.
Hosting, GPU cloud and managed platforms. Expensive to build, and everyone else ends up needing it.
Developer boards, edge modules and accelerator chips. Slow to make, hard to copy.
Every employee has skills, traits and goals of their own. Rivals will try to hire your best ones.
Research technology, then turn it into products. Decide how big to build and when it is good enough to ship.
Set your prices, watch the market and take contracts to pay the bills between launches.
Investors bring cash and opinions. Growing on your own revenue is slower, and the company stays yours.
Move from the garage to real offices and set them up for the people who work there.
Competing companies hire, build, price and raise money by the same rules you do. Nothing is scripted.
Nobody is perfect for every job. The person who ships fastest may burn out first, and the one everybody wants is the one a rival will call.
